Meet Yannette
As a District 10 alder, Figueroa Cole is committed to addressing the community’s needs. She has made significant strides towards a more inclusive and equitable vision in public safety, housing, transportation, and community engagement.
Alder Figueroa Cole has consistently gone above and beyond her role, answering constituent emails, helping them navigate complex systems, attending community meetings, and forming partnerships to ensure your voices are heard. Now, more than ever, she needs your support to continue serving District 10. Your support is not just appreciated, but it is crucial for the progress and development of our community.
Before becoming your Alder, Figueroa Cole took on a community leadership role at the Neighborhood Association and dedicated her efforts to supporting the unsheltered population as a Friends of the State Street Families volunteer.
Alder Yannette Figueroa Cole found a home and community in Madison when she moved here over 30 years ago. She is married to Jesse; they raised their son together and rescued their puppy “MaeRican” from Puerto Rico. She has served as District 10 Alder since 2021, taking leadership roles as Council Vice President and currently serves as the First Latina Council President.
Please volunteer, donate, and share information regarding Yannette’s re-election campaign. Mark your calendars for the Spring Election on April 1, 2025, and Vote for Yannette Figueroa Cole!
